New TaylorMade R11 Driver for Low Handicappers

A week ago, TaylorMade Golf introduced the next generation of adjustable face drivers with the R11 and R11 TP. One of the big differences in the R11 from the R9 is the Adjustable Sole Plate Technology (ASP) -- that allows you to adjust the head angle independent of loft space. Around the web people are chiming in with positive & negative opinions on the fact that Taylormades future flagship model will come standard in white. This seems to be the flavor of the month or month(s) with Taylormade's Ghost putter series and recently Cobra's limited edition white driver. Still no word on if Taylormade will label the new R11 "ghost", my guess is not. It's white! Actually the entire brand of TaylorMade metal woods is white for 2011. The reason for the white head, according to R11 Driver, is that it makes the pinnacle look larger and more confidence inspiring. It also has a matte finish that is designed to eliminate glare from the the queen's, no matter what angle the sun's rays are at. The head, as well as some of the sole, is black creating a heavy contrast with the white the queen's. "The satin white finish, along with the black face, creates the most contrast between face and the queen's to help you line-up the club quicker, inch says He Olsavsky, TaylorMade's director of product creation (metal woods). Olsavsky adds that the white finish helps to reduce the hot spots and glare often created on glossy-topped drivers.

The removable weights of the trailblazer R7 coupled with the adjustable hosel from the R9, has been joined... TM raised it one. The rotating sole plate is what stands between the men from the boys. The role of the sole plate is to independently change the driver face angle by as much as twenty four settings! The effect? The adjustments in the loft space and lie from the hosel do not affect the appearance at address. This driver is designed with a new, modern-classical club head shape designed to suit a person's eye of better players, while still providing forgiveness and confidence for average players.

Those that are single digit handicap players or are close to this level are going to love this driver. The Taylormade R11 is good for those that need to be able to adjust the club as they improve or as they're going from contest to another. 7 days you might need more of a diminish than the usual draw and it could be different the next week. This club allows you to make that adjustment so that you can play the best golf on any course you want from the first tee box.
